Training process
The easiest way to discover a passion for paragliding is either with a trial lesson at the training slope or with a tandem flight. We offer both options so you can get a taste of free flying for yourself.
The training begins with the basic course at the training slope. In 3 or 4 enjoyable days and under the professional guidance of our instructor, you will acquire the foundation knowledge to pilot a glider safely.
Training then continues with high flights as part of the license course. With us you will get to experience amazing flight hours in some of the most spectacular flying areas of central Switzerland. We prepare you specifically for the practical test to acquire the paragliding pilot license. In addition we will provide you with all the necessary theoretical knowledge.
For the practical test there is a minimum age requirement of 16. However, training may already commence at age 15. It takes approximately 25 days in total to complete the training in full.
Requirements for the pilot license
- Successful completion of the basic and license courses
- At least 50 high flights in 5 different flying areas
- Successful completion of both the theoretical and practical tests
Guidelines SHV
We teach according to the guidelines of the Swiss Hang Gliding Association SHV. The pilot license is required to be allowed to fly independently and without the supervision of an instructor.
